Job Announcement – Program Manager – FILLED

Position Summary:The Program Manager will oversee development and implementation of SeaPlan’s overall marine planning program and manage a portfolio of specific projects emphasizing science integration in Massachusetts and the Northeast. Program management responsibilities will include assisting in development of department budgets, strategic partnerships, communications objectives and fundraising strategies. Project implementation duties will include in-house substantive analysis and service delivery as well as engaging and managing the work of subcontractors, including developing scopes of work/budgets and reviewing deliverables. The Program Manager will interface with SeaPlan clients and partners, manage and lead advisory groups and project teams, and present SeaPlan’s work at relevant conferences. In coordination with the Executive Director and other staff, she/he will support SeaPlan fundraising efforts including business development and proposal preparation. Job Announcement – Grants Manager – FILLED

Position Summary: The Grants Manager will work with the Executive Director and other senior staff to diversify and grow SeaPlan’s funding and revenue streams. She/he will focus primarily on foundations (family, corporate, and community) but will also support related campaigns (large donor) and government grants and contracts (federal and state). The Grants Manager will be responsible for managing all phases of grant research, solicitation, tracking and reporting. She/he may also assist senior staff with donor stewardship and with tracking and periodically evaluating SeaPlan’s strategic fundraising plan.
