Role in Coastal and Marine Spatial Planning
NROC convened a workshop on regional CMSP in fall 2009 to foster coordination in the Northeast and plans to hold a follow-up workshop Fall 2010. NROC anticipates playing a leadership role in advancing CMSP in the Northeast that builds off state initiatives and is consistent with the forthcoming final federal CMSP framework.
